How to test your microphone online

Check that your browser can hear the correct microphone and review practical voice-quality results before a call or recording.

Prepare your microphone

  1. Connect the microphone or headset before you open the test.
  2. Close other apps that may be using the microphone.
  3. Use a quiet room and place the microphone a comfortable distance from your mouth.
